Who we are

This policy applies to the BPES AI & Digital Innovation Program website, application form and SMS program operated by BPES (Black Professionals & Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan). Contact us at info@bpes.ca.

Information and its use

We collect the contact details, business information, goals, challenges and program preferences you submit. We use them for application, administration, participant support, evaluation and required funder reporting. A mobile number and SMS consent are optional. We record your SMS choice, the disclosure shown, the form address, the disclosure version and submission time to document your preference.

SMS privacy and sharing

BPES does not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with any other organization for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in records are excluded from funder reporting and partner referrals. Service providers may process these records only to operate our application, consent-record storage and messaging services on our behalf; they are not given permission to market to you or use your consent for their own messages.

Website chat

The website chat is provided by GoHighLevel LeadConnector and collects the contact details and messages you submit. Its separate consent notice describes the messaging you authorize. Chat consent and the application form’s optional non-marketing SMS consent are separate choices; one does not grant the other.

Form processing and website services

This form uses FormSubmit to send your application and consent choices to BPES by email. Hosting, email and messaging providers process information needed to deliver these services. The site also loads fonts and images from external providers, which can receive connection information such as your IP address. Processing may occur outside Canada.

Your choices

You may register without SMS consent. If you opt in, BPES may send application updates, appointment and program reminders, and participant support messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. You can also contact info@bpes.ca to withdraw SMS consent or request access, correction or deletion of your information, subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations. Withdrawing SMS consent does not withdraw your application.

Records and updates

BPES retains application and consent records for program administration and applicable recordkeeping requirements. Contact us with questions about retention or handling of your records. Changes to this policy will be posted here with an updated date. See our Terms & Conditions for SMS program terms.
